Rates are not the only thing to change however, your details will change over time too, and many of these crucial changes can mean you could actually be taking advantage of lower quotes. Cheap car insurance is available, you just need to find it and start saving yourself some of that valuable cash.It is all in the details when it comes to obtaining Cheap car insurance – your age, the location in which you live and park your car, the age and history of your car, your driving record, how many times your car is actually on the road… the list can seem endless, but it is these details that really make a difference to how much you will have to fork out for cover, so make sure they are correct. If you have moved to an area deemed a lower risk, you could save yourself hundreds of dollars. Just think how much you could save if a few of your altered details put you into a lower risk category! This may sound like a ridiculous statement but some companies provide important extras at no extra cost but which may cost you dearly if you don’t have them when you need them. Look out for free car hire when your car is at the garage or if you cause an accident that involves the other driver having to leave their car in the garage. Some insurance companies even offer free roadside assistance, which can be a real money-drainer if you’re in a tight spot and you are not able to come up with the cash to pay for it immediately. Sometimes the extras can save you a lot of money, which can in turn provide you with a cheap auto insurance policy when you look at the big picture.

Buying your car insurance online is not only the easiest option, it can often be the cheapest as well. Because insurance providers can cut down on staffing costs, many offer discounts if you buy coverage online rather than over the phone or in person. Need to insure more than one car? Make sure you insure them at the same time and let your insurer know – insurance companies often offer a hefty discount for multiple cars.

When you shop online to find cheap auto insurance, there are many sites that can provide you with a quote. You can use this quote to compare the cheap car insurance from a number of providers. This is beneficial for those who are time poor and therefore, do not have the time to do the research and conduct the comparisons themselves. It pays to be savvy when you come to insure your car – follow the suggestions above and you are sure to find a cheap car insurance whilst still providing you with the type of specific cover that you need.

Cheap car insurance

Question by cocoamis92: Where can I find cheap teen car insurance in Cincinnati, OH?
Few people in my family actually drive with a license let alone insurance(not including my mother) she doesn’t even drive. I’m only 17, how can I and where can I get CHEAP car insurance from?

Best answer:

Answer by David W.
In the Yellow Pages. However, at 17, you can’t make a contract, so your mom will have to be the named insured, even though she doesn’t have a license. Call an agent and explain the situation; they may be able to help you. Remember that the car will still be rated for YOU at 17, though, so be ready for some high rates.

There’s no such thing as cheap car insurance for a 17 year old. Drivers under age 25 are the highest risk group to insure.

Call many different insurance agencies and get quotes. You’ll have to answer questions about your age and the specifics of your vehicle, but getting the quote is free and painless. Go with whichever one gives you the best (cheapest) offer.

I would try a local State Farm. That’s who I went through when I first got my license at 18 (I also live in Cincinnati), and I was pleasantly surprised at how much cheaper it was than all the others. I am also a male, was driving a red sports car at that time, and did not go through a driver’s education course. Generally speaking, those are three big factors for young drivers, but they didn’t seem to matter with them. Good luck!
