DUI insurance

Question by ballparkmaster: Does DUI have to be reported auto insurance?
One of my friends has been still paying the same insurance premium he paid before DUI. He is so happy with that, but he just concerns any possible problems with an insurance company in the future. Is it a responsibility to report DUI to an insurance company?

Your friend is driving without insurance. He has invalidated it by not informing them. He should read his policy. It tells him there that he must inform them of any significant changes = DUI is significant.
By the way when he does sort it out he might not be able to afford it.
